Patio (adjacent to the master bath) ​
The Designers at Gabby and Summer Classics Richmond were honored to design the brick patio adjacent to the master bathroom suite. We envisioned it as a serene, private outdoor sanctuary and a true extension of the master bedroom, offering homeowners a seamless transition from the bath area to a calming retreat. This space is perfect for using after soaking in the bathtub, or as a secluded area to read and relax before retiring for the night.
The core idea was to maximize the functional luxury of the adjacent interior space. We specifically selected furniture finishes and fabric colors that would offer a sophisticated contrast to the warm, traditional red brick. These selections also harmonize beautifully with the natural tones and established view of the estate, ensuring the patio feels perfectly integrated, private, and restful.
Patio (adjacent to the kitchen)
The Designers at Gabby and Summer Classics Richmond extended their vision to the adjacent brick patio leading from the kitchen, transforming it into a versatile outdoor hub. We designed this space to be an effortless extension of the home’s interior, perfect for varied daily activities, from enjoying a quiet morning coffee and utilizing the bistro table as an inspiring
work-from-home spot to intimate alfresco dinners.
To maintain visual continuity, we carried over the fabric colors from the master suite patio. The furniture on both patios is from Gabby and Summer Classics of Richmond, and is made of the highest quality materials. The fabrics are high-performance for durability, and the lounge chairs feature our signature "dream cushions" for supreme comfort. The frames on both patios are meant to last! The frames are made of Indonesian grown plantation grade A teak, wrought aluminum with double walled construction, and durable resin wicker.
